Internet Explorer 9 is a great browser. But its predecessors are not liked by many. You may be wondering how to remove it as it cannot be removed from “Programs and Features” or be deleted directly from the hard disk. It can be deleted and the process of deleting is actually very easy.
Steps to remove IE from your PC:
- Run “control panel” to open control panel. Then take Programs and Features. Although IE cannot be seen in the list of Installed Programs removing IE is from here itself.
- On the left sidebar, Turn Windows features On or Off option will be available. Click that. Now a menu listing Windows features will be shown. Just uncheck IE from that list.
- Now just restart your computer and IE will be completely gone. If you want to get it back just take the same list of Windows features that we took before and check IE.
